When communities grow,
everyone benefits.

The Majuba Mavuso Foundation brings together sustainable agriculture, skills development and entrepreneurship to address unemployment, poverty and food insecurity.

Our initiative prioritises unemployed youth, women, people with disabilities and other vulnerable groups. The goal is simple: equip people to build self-reliant, food-secure communities.

Long-term possibility.

Our proposed programme is designed to grow through community participation, responsible land use and strong partnerships.

  1. Find the right ground

Work with municipalities, schools, institutions and willing households to identify land. Assess soil, water, accessibility and permissions before planting.

  2. Equip people to grow

Combine practical agricultural training with tools, infrastructure and mentorship, with inclusion at the heart of participation.

  3. Build community enterprises

Support locally managed gardens and cooperatives, connecting produce to markets and reinvesting income into continued production.
